Dream Pies

Journey North * The party continues north, navigating around the Tser Pool and ascending a cliff.

Watch Tower Encounter * Discover a ruined three-story watch tower covered in moss and ivy, with two fresh graves and an animal’s fresh corpse nearby. * Barovian refugees are buried here, slain by wolves. There is a dead dire wolf nearby riddled with spears and crossbow bolts. * We decide to leave the tower alone and continue on our journey, who knows what riches or disaster would have awaited us in the tower.

Tser Pool/Falls Bridge * Encounter a Revenant guarding the bridge, who asks if we serve him. * The Revenant, Sir Godfried William, claims to be a Knight of the Order of the Silver Dragon, banished by his commander, Vladimir Horngaard.

Road Split * Find a split in the road: east to Castle Ravenloft, west to Velaki. * An open gate makes the party feel uneasy.

Ancient Monument * Discover a six-foot stone slab with a three-pointed star carving and a raven, an ancient monument to the Seeker and the Ladies Three.

Windmill Encounter * Meet Morgantha, a fiend selling Dream Pastries, living at the windmill with her daughters, Bella and Offailia. * Aera buys her cart for five gold to carry the cat that ate a pie and fell asleep for five hours. * Hide silver items in the cart as Morgantha warns about Vellaki guards confiscating silver.

Raven Interest * Ravens start following the party, with hundreds soon in tow. * Ireena, in a stupor, asks to see the lake but the party moves away.

Wolf Attack * Eight wolves, including a possible werewolf, attack the party. * Ravens swarm the werewolf. * Schloptk nearly dies but wakes up in time to join the fight. * Aera uses mage hand to feed a dream pie to a wolf. It manages to take that wolf out of the fight.
