Malron’s Account

A Vistani woman we met just outside the tent at the Tser Pool camp, with Arturi Vedonavich. Over a hearty meal she was very interested in our names and our journey, so interested that I feared she was part of the shadow we had been warned about. Around the fire she sang that each raven holds a lost soul, of Luda, of the Morninglord, of raven kind. I could not catch it all, but the key, I think, was a Holy Symbol of Ravenkind⁠10. Long after, on our way from Vallaki to the castle, we met her again near the Tser Pool Crossroads, travelling in Stanimir’s caravan with Radu, telling stories. We were wary of each other, but civil⁠43.
