The story so far
I am Malron, a cleric of Lathander, and this is our record. Five of us met in a barn loft in Daggerford and followed a floating tooth into the fog. The fog brought us to Barovia, a valley ruled by the vampire Strahd von Zarovich, and it has not let us leave. Madam Eva read our fortune and named what might end him. We are still looking.

The House in the Fog
A floating tooth and a glowing pendant led us out of Daggerford and through the fog to a manor that was waiting for us. Its ghosts and the horrors in its cellars wanted us dead. We learned the Durst family’s secret, fought the mound of flesh at the bottom of the well, and climbed out a window as the house sank into the ground behind us.

The Village Under the Castle
The fog drove us into the village of Barovia, under the shadow of Castle Ravenloft. We buried Rose and Thorn, met Ismark and his sister Ireena, and staked Doru, the priest’s son, in the cellar under the church. Then we set out to take Ireena somewhere safe. Strahd stopped his carriage on the road to say hello, and at Tser Pool Madam Eva read our fortune in five cards.

Vallaki
Vallaki is a walled town where the guards take your silver and the festivals never stop. We found the lost girl Arabelle, brought back the stolen bones that guard the church, and saw Izek fall. Then we beat the hags of the windmill with their own true names, and crossed into the spirit realm under Lady Fiona’s house to bring Stella home. Shabasta did not come back with us.

The Broken Land
Ireena asked to fight beside us. We found Davian hiding at the Wizard of Wines and fought the druids around his vineyard, stopped Winter Splinter, and reached Krezk and the abbey above it, where we found Ezmerelda. Together we raided the werewolf den, and Zuleika gave Olfin the Symbol of Ravenkind. At Argynvostholt we met the ghosts of the Order of the Silver Dragon.

Castle Ravenloft
Strahd invited us to dinner, then kept us in his guest tower for a night that kept starting over. We left as his guests and came back as thieves while he rode out. We took Argynvost’s skull, destroyed Volenta and Anastrasya, two of his brides, found the Icon of Dawn’s Grace in Saint Markovia’s tomb, and freed Gertruda. Olfin died there, and I called him back.
