King Dostron the Hellborn

Malron’s Account

An ancient king whose resting place is on the Hill of Ravenloft, where a legendary spear waited32. His name is part of Strahd’s oldest password, “I come in Dostron’s memory”, which Sasha whispered to us and which only Rahadin is old enough to remember40. His crypt, number 34 in the catacombs beneath Castle Ravenloft, was one of the places we had to reach to break the land’s curse42.

When we found it, a spectral voice warned us to stop. We did not. Olfin and I pried open his lead sarcophagus, cased in gold, and inside lay the Spear of the Huntress, a blood spear of great power47.
