Beucephalus

Malron’s Account

Strahd’s nightmare. Strahd has ridden up to us on a fiery steed more than once: in the middle of our parley with Kavan, and on the road through the forest to Yester Hill3031, and we saw him on his nightmare steed in the spirit realm27. We learned its name the night we came back to steal from Castle Ravenloft: from the edge of the precipice we watched Strahd ride out of the castle on Beucephalus, and with the master gone we crossed the chasm and took the drawbridge43.
