Izek Strazni

Malron’s Account

The Baron of Vallaki’s enforcer, whose arm burns with demonic fire. He drove the refugees from the gate with it13. The town records name him as the brother of an Ireena Strazni who vanished as a child; he lost his arm to a wolf when his sister went missing1521. A rumor we heard at a Vistani campfire, which we take to be true, tells the rest: on a family fishing trip a dire wolf bit the boy, and his little sister ran off into the woods. That sister is Ireena, raised in Barovia village by the burgomaster who found her. It would explain why he was so taken with her, and the doll of her he carried to the lake on his last night22. He ransacked the Blue Water Inn and burned Blinsky’s shop looking for Ireena20. We followed him to the lake, where he sat with a doll of Ireena and drank Lady Fiona’s poisoned wine, and killed him. His arm went to Shabasta22. Through the Talisman of Echoes his head told us of the Order of the Feather23.
