Malron’s Account
Fog-wreathed gates flanked by headless statues, on the road toward Castle Ravenloft. A black carriage waited for us there, and inside was a scroll: “It is customary for a lord to provide safe escort and a gift to guests for his home.” The gift was Strahd’s puzzle chest38.
